Maintenance & Support
Security patches go out when vulnerabilities are disclosed — not when you notice something is wrong. Dependencies are updated on a schedule. When something fails at 3am, we get the alert before you do.
Scope
Security, uptime, and infrastructure are the baseline — not optional extras. Higher tiers add dedicated development time and faster response.
Why it matters
When a critical vulnerability is disclosed in a package your system uses, you want it patched within hours — not when an agency finds time in their queue. We track CVEs for every dependency across client systems and patch proactively.
We configure uptime monitoring on every system we maintain. When something goes down at 3am, our alert fires — not your phone. We investigate, fix where we can, and contact you with a summary. Most issues are resolved before clients notice.
Fixed retainer pricing means you know exactly what maintenance costs each month. No time-and-materials billing where a single dependency upgrade becomes a half-day invoice. Budgeting for software maintenance stops being a guess.
The team maintaining your system is the team that built it. No onboarding a new developer who reads the codebase for three hours before fixing a two-line bug. The engineers know where the sharp edges are because they put them there.
Plans
Fixed monthly pricing. We'll recommend the right level after reviewing your system and understanding your risk tolerance.

Response targets
Partner retainers come with formal SLAs. Every retainer comes with the same engineering team and the same commitment to catching issues before you do.
Inheriting software
We regularly take on maintenance for systems built by other agencies. Every new system starts with a paid technical audit — we review the code, document what we find, assess security posture, and give you a clear picture of what you're sitting on before we sign a retainer. No surprises after we take over, because we looked before we committed.
Common questions
Yes. We take on maintenance for systems built by other agencies, internal teams, or previous developers. Every new system we onboard starts with a paid audit — we review the codebase, document what we find, assess technical debt, identify security risks, and give you an honest picture of what you have before we take responsibility for it.
When a security advisory is published for a package your system depends on, we check whether the vulnerability affects your usage, update the dependency, run your test suite, deploy to staging, verify the fix, and promote to production. For critical vulnerabilities (CVSS 9+), we do this same day. For high-severity issues, within 48 hours.
Growth and Partner retainers get same-day response during Qatar business hours (Sunday–Thursday, 9am–6pm AST). For genuine production outages, we're reachable outside those hours on WhatsApp. Critical failures are not a 'leave a message' situation.
We start with a 3-month agreement — enough time to properly understand the system, get through the initial security audit, and demonstrate what consistent maintenance looks like. Most clients continue month-to-month or annually after that.
Growth includes up to 8 hours of development time per month — suitable for UI improvements, minor features, and small integrations. Partner includes up to 20 hours. For larger feature work, we scope it separately so it doesn't crowd out the actual maintenance work.
